  • Can you give me some pointers on how I get my resume or cover letter from Word or WordPerfect into your program?

Here is a very easy and detailed example. You might want to print these instructions as "Selected Text" so you do not have to jump back and forth through the applications.

  1. In Microsoft Word 2000, Go to File, Save As, At Save as type.
  2. Select Web Page ("*.HTML"; "*.HTM").
  3. Type your file name with no spaces and "Save" where you can later find it.
  4. Open your favorite text editor, or NotePad is found at Start Button, Programs, Accessories, NotePad.
  5. Go To File, Open, At Open as type.. Select All Types.
  6. Locate the directory of your saved HTML page in the Open dialog box.
  7. Select your HTML page.
  8. Click on Open.
  9. Go To Edit, Select All.
  10. Go To Edit, Copy.
  11. Go To ResumeStats.COM resume or cover letter wizard.
  12. Answer the question to store your resume or cover letter on-site.
